My cousins and I hiked along the tree lined lane from Killeney depot to Dalkey village. The view overlooked the Irish Sea and was actually quite like the Puget Sound. On our hike, we spotted a giant construction crane along this long narrow road of million dollar homes.

The noise of the ‘crotch-rockets’ as they raced around the 2.25 mile Pacific Raceways track was simply deafening. My sister, Shannon and I, with three of our six kids in tow, drove to the track to watch the 650 SS Open Singles race. Our friend, Eric Featherstone was competing and rumor had it that he was slated to win! Not sure who started that rumor but I was soon to find out as we sat down.
